Ok, so the protein never actually made me throw up but I did have trouble with dumping on the protein for about six weeks. I tried it again over Christmas and right before that and I do fine with it now. The chocolate, which I had started to hate, actually is almost good if mixed with another flavor and lactose free milk and it’s actually good. I tried some butter toffee flavored and it’s pretty good too. My only issue with the protein drinks is that they are all sooo sweet! I guess a chicken-flavored one would be nasty but I would prefer non-sweet stuff.

Anyways, this is good that I can do the drinks again because I have to get in at least 60 to 80 grams of protein a day. I need to get more than that, especially during this time that I’m losing my hair. I don’t have time, pouch space or the energy to eat that much food. I can do it, but it’s too much.

  1. I have been slacking so bad w/ my protein — don’t tell anyone! LOL.

    I have been feeling well though – down 79lbs! I am in a size 14 now and they are getting lose! Wahooo! Never thought I would see these days again!

  2. I’ve been trying on my protein because I started losing hair BAD. I’m glad you’re doing so well and feeling good! I forget, when was your surgery? LTNS, btw. TTYL!
