A couple of years ago, I stumbled upon the TV show Sing Off! on NBC and was instantly hooked. The show is a contest between some of the country’s best a capella groups. Unfortunately, it was canceled so I just have to relive my favorite moments via YouTube.
The cool thing about these groups is that they would take regular songs you hear on the radio and perform them a capella with their voices even being the instruments.
Now I’m not normally a fan of Lady Gaga. Not hating on her, just not my normal preference. There’s something about college guys singing her song “Bad Romance” that just makes me giggle, however. Such was the case with the group from Oregon named On the Rocks. Their video of this song is so funny to me because they take a ridiculous and even creepy song and make it clever and funny.
