Well, I’m home! I have emailed buccos but realized I had never updated my surgery blog. The surgery went great. No problems at all. The gas pain has been a ton worse than the actual cutting pain. The gas thing has been exacerbated by the fact that I can’t get up and walk it off.
Right now I’m focusing on trying to learn how to transfer again. That has been really bad but it getting better. As I get more comfortable and confident, then I will be better at telling people how to help me. Eventually I’ll be able to do it alone.
I’m having a hard time figuring out how to sleep because I developed two small pressure sores on my back from laying on my back so much. Don’t worry, they are not serious at all. Just wish I could sleep comfortably on my side.
Even though I’m complaining, I’m glad for my decision. I don’t mind the pain because I know it will all work out later.
