Reunions, kiddos, and fun in Wichita

A while back, we made it to Wichita for a short but great trip. The timing was designed around my high school reunion, but my sister-in-law also came with the nieces and nephew! I loved my reunion, but time with the littles and the rest of the family was the highlight of our trip.

We arrived at my parents house to see this. The girls had decorated my ramp and the front door!

I wish I had gotten pictures of everyone on this trip and was sad to come home and realize I hadn’t. But, of course there are pics of the kids! I don’t identify the kids on purpose to protect their privacy.

First, selfies with Aunt Jamie.

Also got pictures of the kids with other family members including my parents (their grandparents) and my SIL (their mom).

When we go to Wichita, we enjoy going to the local Dillion’s grocery store to get food for our hotel room. This time, I had to get pictures of the Hello Kitty sushi. Pink sushi.

And when we left, we of course stocked up on drinks and gas at QuikTrip. I had to get a QT drink!

There was a little bit of adventure. I got my fourth nail in two months.

We also got to see my grandparents’ new assistant living apartment, which the moved to a month or so ago. I failed to get pictures but it’s such a neat place! I did come home with what most will probably consider a strange artifact from my childhood.

This is the anchor that was at my grandparents' house for as long as I can remember. My brother and I used to hang it in one of the trees at their place and pretend someone else did it. I wanted this anchor! I have ski rope and will soon hang it in a tree at my own house.

Now, let’s talk about the reason we chose that specific weekend to visit Wichita. It’s hard to believe that it’s been 20 years since I graduated from Berean Academy!

About 18 of my 32 classmates gathered in downtown Wichita to reminisce and catch up.
