Last year, we had a snow storm every month but this season, we’ve had zilch. I have been wanting at least one decent snow and last night and this morning, we got it. Well, sort of. Most of Northwest Arkansas got about 2 inches to 5 inches of snow. We got less than that and in fact, you can still see the grass sticking up through the snow.
You could still see the grass through the snow but the Smith puppies still got a lot of tracks in the snow.
Beggars can’t be choosers, though so I decided to enjoy what I had! This was the first snow storm since my friend gave me her camera so I had fun playing with it a bit.
I wasn’t able to get a picture of Colby at all and this is the closest Missy got to going outside.
The Smith Puppies, on the other hand, had some fun in the snow. As usual, it was more Flower than Jazzy but both had fun.
The neighbors’ dog decided to come to the fence to play so both dogs went nuts running along the fence.
Jazzy ran all over the yard but Flower seemed to enjoy just hanging out in the snow more.

Flower loves to supervise us from the back fence where she can see anywhere in the yard. She does this in all weather!

I also checked out our front yard a little bit.
I always get a shot of my car so I can tell how much we got. I figure the car is always the same place and height so the snow would be the variable. You can sort of see the ice on the windows.
You did a wonderful job with your new camera! Our fur-babies loved the snow too. But they don’t like staying out in it long. I’ll take a few inches over a few feet any day. Pretty enough to give us a taste of winter, but not enough to keep us immobile. Thanks for sharing!
I’m kind of the opposite. I was hoping that we would go the entire winter without any snow, but I live in Central Arkansas. I’m always afraid of road conditions or losing power from ice/snow.
