Last year, we had a snow storm every month but this season, we’ve had zilch. I have been wanting at least one decent snow and last night and this morning, we got it. Well, sort of. Most of Northwest Arkansas got about 2 inches to 5 inches of snow. We got less than that and in fact, you can still see the grass sticking up through the snow.
Beggars can’t be choosers, though so I decided to enjoy what I had! This was the first snow storm since my friend gave me her camera so I had fun playing with it a bit.
The Smith Puppies, on the other hand, had some fun in the snow. As usual, it was more Flower than Jazzy but both had fun.
You did a wonderful job with your new camera! Our fur-babies loved the snow too. But they don’t like staying out in it long. I’ll take a few inches over a few feet any day. Pretty enough to give us a taste of winter, but not enough to keep us immobile. Thanks for sharing!
I’m kind of the opposite. I was hoping that we would go the entire winter without any snow, but I live in Central Arkansas. I’m always afraid of road conditions or losing power from ice/snow.
Great Post! Your furkids are too cute! My dog hates the snow, she doesn’t have enough fur to keep warm!
Thank you!
Great pictures. We have about 5 inches of snow in our yard and almost 2 inches of sleet under it. I am near Harrison.
Thanks! We are in Elkins. I need to make sure I put that in the blog!
Love looking at snow–thanks for these shots. 🙂
Great photos! I wish my dog had that much fun in the snow. I bet if he were a Flower or Jazzy-sized dog he would love it!

I loved our snow day! My dogs had a great time once they figured it out. Your pictures are fun and I love that snow man.
